So i've been going back and forth on whether to purchase a catback exhaust system or custom-made. I've decided to go with custom-made because it's less expensive compared to the buying the whole cat system. A reputable shop quoted me roughly $850 for parts and labor on replacing the whole system for a set of hfc (not sure how many cel yet), 3" straight pipes, maybe a resonator, and new mufflers and tips. Question is, is worth it? Also, what would you do if you can custom made your exhaust system. I care more about performance wise than sound, but that doesn't mean i want a car that sound so loud or obnoxious.

 

3" exhaust on an N/A will make you deaf

its gonna be loud, dude... are you planning on going fi anytime soon? if not, just stick with 2.5". just my opinion though.

 

2.5" with resonators will have a nice, deep sound but not obnoxious.

 

dude..... fully polished, fully stainless, true dual, and designed for our car...Invidia Gemini is less than what you're planning to spend & sounds great...and that's shipped to your door. Why spend more and roll the dice for something that might disappoint and need more work & more money to get right. Find the right vendor in here and you're OTD for less.
