Crushed Exhaust - WHAT TO DO?

Hey guys,

Okay so before you all flame me for having a backup camera and sensors....I backed up into a crushed up piece of curb and pushed my exhaust straight back on the right side...yes I am an idiot, I know!!<O</O

Either way I am wondering what you think the best way to go would be on this. The hanger is still completely intact and that part wasnt broken. Even the bottom of the muffler isnt bad, only problem is that in the point where the pipe bends near the wheel well the pipe pinched just a little. I am still getting flow and having no problems.
<O</O
I would really just like to get an Ark Exhaust but I may have to wait a few months, I hate seeing my car like this everytime I walk outside.
<O</O
Do you think that the pipe could be heated and pulled back out and I could just get the tip replaced? Or possibly weld a new pipe in the place where it pinched? Anyone know the part number for the replacement tip on a 2010 Sedan???<O</O

I did almost the exact same thing to my HKS except not quite as bad. Just my tip is bent/flatened on the bottom passenger side. I was thinking I could just take it off and hammer it back out with a rubber malet. Not sure that will work on yours though.

its not the muffler that I am worried about, it is the pipe! Currently the whole exhaust is pushed back about 2.5"-3.5" and not sitting in the hanger!

That is what I need advice on!

you should just take it to a near by or your muffler shop and see what they can do to put it back into place and reshape the tip, or just get it back into place and get the ark!

Check with Shawn Lowrey in the service department at Clear Lake Infiniti. He will take care of you.

I have seen the tips on ebay but I do not trust anything I would put on my vehicle that comes from ebay, anyone know the part number for the tip?

I am going to go a local exhaust shop and see about getting it back in place for a temporary fix until the Ark is do-able financially.

I know just how you feel when ever you walk out the door and see your car sitting there with the exhaust damage, it always pulls your attention to the damaged area. If your really thinking of getting the Ark, this could be push you need to make the move.

Ya. I totally forgot I have 460 bucks coming to me from a march madness bet slip that I mailed to vegas a few weeks ago....should see it soon. May as well just put that money in a shoebox so when I swipe my card the Ark doesn't hurt so much haha!

Leaning towards ARK for sure, it is just so sexy and sounds so clean.
