GREAT POINT!!! I learned this the hard way. My tubes were rubbing against the AC lines and eventually caused a leak in my AC line. I had no cold air coming out of my A/C. I took it to the dealership to fix this, not knowing that my Gen 3's were the root of the problem. They told me that it will not be covered warranty since the aftermarket intake caused it, and I had to pay $460 bucks out of my pocket to get it repaired. (Part was about $90 plus labor and recharge of freon)
Yup. People need to be aware of this, even if they wrap the lines. It's a good idea to check it every few months.
