Forgot to tighten on of 2 header to cat bolts >.<

Just installed test pipes, and forgot to tighten the bolt which is accessed through the engine bay, its only hand tightened. Is it a big deal to leave this bolts for a while? I ordered some sway bars from JEBperformance and plan to just tighten them then (3 weeks or so). I tighted the other 2 bolts (accessed from under the car) pretty tight.

Exhaust is going to leak until you tighten it.

You will die in seven days if you don't tighten it.

JK, you will die much sooner.

Actually if bad enough it can burn a valve. I only say this since I've seen it on V8's. Take the time go back and do it right. Cheers...

Oh crap, cat bolts....... never mind. It's where the header meet the heads that are truly important, you're just looking at a potential exhaust leak.

So sorry about that...

That's the leak you are hearing. Don't put it off. Just tighten it tomorrow.

^^^ hopefully i can tighten them without lifting the car, since its a nut and bolt, so it may just spin. If i have to lift it il have to wait a few weeks.
