Exhaust Depot y-pipe

Any thoughts about validity of Exhaust Depots claim for added hp and better flow with their 2.5” y-pipe. I have read Mike’s thread on back pressure myths and related comments and this seems to make sense.

I put one on her G37. What would you like to know?

I also have an extra one in the basement I need to sell. Never installed.

y pipe search

thanks, that was helpful. I get very frustrated with the shotgun search function and need to be more patient probably.

I have one on my car. Gives a noticeable mid range increase.

Didn't even register on my butt dyno after install, but it did address my Tanabe's being too quiet. Post tune I came out with some nice gains dyno'ed and felt, can't say what % the y-pipe played in that though. Had Tanabe's y-pipe been available I'd have probably gone with that instead.
