HELP!! Injen CAI install problem

I am in the middle of installing the Injen CAI. It has not been as easy as those sisters make it look (and I've installed a CAI on an RX8 with a front bumper removal). My question...Is it possible my car ('08 G37S) does not have the resonators (per Injen's instructions)? I don't see anything that resembles resonators to take out. I've done the proverbial forum search with no luck. Someone who has installed these please help. I hope it is worth all this trouble. Thanx.

Mine's the coupe. That's what I figured, so I went ahead with the install. Thanks for the reaffirmation. I'm fixin' to go try it out now. Only took me 6 hours with a lunch. I've had the intake laying around for a year and just got motivated today. We'll see if it's worth it. Thanks again. I guess now I've got to look out for deep puddles. I put on the Injen Hydroshields just to prolong my cleaning.

Hm what? I have an 08 G37S coupe and my resonators were removed when Injen CAI was installed.

Yeah right, I know. One person on MyG37 had pics of his resonators taken out and someone else talked about how difficult it was to get them out. I simply did not have any. It's a 2008 G37S Coupe and I am the only owner. Beats me. One strange observation... my car seems to be quieter now with the Injen CAI then when I had just the Tanabe exhaust by itself. My butt dyno does like it though.

if they are there you dont need to remove them i dint see them ???removing the air baffles make it easyer to not have tube rubbing on the plastic,,relocating the horn YES is needed and the washer bottle needs to be replaced but thats it on the 08 coupe at least so IDK

btw what do the resonators connect to anyway???

Final verdict.... Well worth the effort! I have the black tubes and not only do they look awesome under the hood, but sound-wise and performance-wise, it's like I have a new car. Now, to put on some new rubber and I can quit looking at IS-F's and M3's. Thanks Injen.
