Invidia or Kinetix HFC any good?

I did a search but couldnt find much info on them. I just purchased a FI Carbon fiber exhaust system and am looking for a HFC to go with it (preferably used)

I got offered a pair of used Invidias for 350 but cant find any info on them. Any feedback on them or the Kinetix HFC? Should I just bite the bullet and spend 450 for a new pair of berks? Decisions decisions

You can get brand new ERZ HFCs for cheaper. Have them on my 2010 sedan. Love 'em!

Dude I got my Berk HFC's shipped for less than that... Hit up Kyle at Import Parts Pro, he's a vendor on the forum... Also hit up Lou at Amplified... Both give great deals.

Trust me... GO BERK HFC with the FI CF exhaust... sounded awesome when I was running it... Then get a tune and unleash that power.

Kyle is the one who quoted me 450??? He must like you better. You know I have to get the StillenGen 3 before I get a tune

Do we have any vendors on the East Coast who can maybe give me a better price (reduces the cost of shipping)?

Kinetix HFC's is as better as FI & Berks because of the higher cell count. g37mobber is selling one and only used for a couple thousand miles. You already posted on his FS thread. I say get it from him.

Kinetix and invidia are the least restrictive HFCs available right now I think

Less restriction is meaningless unless you have a good tune. Car will run sluggish without it. I was quite happy with my FI + Berks, but see if there's any videos on YouTube with the kinetics + FI combo.

Well. The ERZ HFCs are 20 cell. But the difference between 200 and 300 cell isn't something you'd notice.

Here:
YouTube - NEW INVIDIA EXHAUST with KINETIX HFC installed by AMPLIFIED MOTORSPORT

The exhaust itself matters way more in terms of sound than the HFCs

I think I would agree with that statement. The exhaust is really what is going to influence the sound, not so much the HFC. however , I do want to warn that many have noticed, including myself, that do to resonance, the Berk let off a soft hissing sound when down shifting. I think it's kinda cool but others found it annoying. You may want to run a search on that.

If it is power you are looking for, freeing up your stock cats and adding HFC or TP of any brand will essentially do the same thing. Freeflowing exhaust uaully equals more power, however, don't forget that N/A motors also require a balance of back pressure so you have to try and find that happy medium. Differences in HFC power is not going to be too drastic Just my two cents.
