I'd go for the ERZ HFCs. Way cheaper than the Berks.

Re: Tanabe. That's just axle-back? You plan on upgrading the rest?

contact lou@amplified. I believe he has some very slightly used HFCs at great prices.

Never heard of ERZ. Are they as quality sounding as Berk because im all about saving some bucks (to use towards the stillen gen3 of course :-)

For now I am just going to do the axle back, fulll exhausts for these cars break the bank.

Here's what I don't get though, going with mufflers and HFC's, why not just get a catback then worry about the cats later

Soon you're going to want to replace your y-pipe and midpipes as well lol

Go on youtube and search tanabe and berk hfc (im at work cant link it). This combo sounds deeper and crisper than most full exhaust systems imo.

Yeah they are good. No problem with mine so far for close to 3,700 miles.

There was some rasp with the stock exhaust, but it's totally gone now since I installed the Fast Intentions catback... Just save up and do it all at once. Trust me. Once the mod bug hits you, there's no turning back.

You can get an invidia catback for 800 shipped, check the vendor page. Only slightly more than the tanabes, and with tanabe's you're only getting two bolt on mufflers. That's not breaking the bank, the invidia stuff is very high quality. IMO most of the other systems are overpriced (looking at you HKS).

It doesn't make sense to get HFCs + mufflers and leave the y and mid pipe stock. Just get a catback from the start you'll be glad you did.
