Stillen Gen 3 Installed on G37x with before/after Dyno

Got my Gen 3 installed today. Work was done by SlowMotion Motorsports in Sunbury, Ohio (near Columbus). Wanted to thank Corey, as everything went smooth and I plan to work with them again in the near future.

I was happy with the gains (especially with AWD). Not as much of a sound difference as i expected after reading posts here. Feels much more alive up top of the rev range (as you can see from the dyno).

Overall, I'm very happy. Can't wait to get exhaust and custome tune next- Fast Intentions HFC, new X pipe, and Intimidator with UpRev.

Nice gains! Thanks for sharing... Will you also be doing a dyno after exhaust install? That would be sweet

Did you get an A/F readings by any chance? Curious to see how that looks like on a stock exhaust with CAI

wow...i like how thw power doesn't drop off and keeps climbing from 6250 to 7100...this is similar to Modified Magazine's dyno of the 3G intake with the 370Z. it's minor to begligible gains from low to mid range...then it pops after 6000 rpm.

Im new to the G37 and just got mines almost a month ago. Im curious would their be a slight higher power difference had this been a regular RWD auto like mine? or do the Auto AWD and RWD basically put down the same power?

Sorry to be a NOOB

simple answer:

Manual rwd should give the most power. Awd and auto each cause more friction and drivetrain loss

Those gains are sick! How many runs did he do on stock and then on intake? any breaks in between to let it cool off?
Makes me happy I bough it xD

Btw I was thinking about getting the hydro shields from injen instead of the urethane cover that comes with the gen3s. What do you guys think? If I'm driving 60 mph in the moderate rain, will the suffice?

Perfect, so on my 2RWD with just intakes I could expect to see 280 or more. Just trying to figure out can i make 300rwhp effortlessly with just intakes and cats. I dont want to go extreme with this car as I have in the past with my other cars.
