So after realizing, that not only does my exhaust sit lower then it should but it
I like the tips that are on it they just hang too low. It sucks they didn't send you the right stuff in the first place but I think those tips look great with the car. 4.5" are just too big imo. Those would look great if they were just tucked in better.
So the guy from Borla called me again and told me that he had the other G37 exhaust checked in his warehouse (there was only 1 left) and it too had the wrong tips installed. He said they would probably send me the entire rear muffler/tip assembly but that it could be anywhere from 8-10 weeks because it has to be manufactured
so i guess im stuck with the smaller tips for a good portion of the winter.
so i guess im stuck with the smaller tips for a good portion of the winter.You may be able to sweat talk the shop into bailing you out since it's only the muffler assembly that needs to be switched. Shouldn't take them long at all.

Yes sorry that was what i meant. Borla should be the one compensating. Now i just read that they are putting it on order for 8-10 weeks?... i would be mad.
in case anyone was curious, Greg from Borla sent me this and told me he would try and
get out the muffler assembly ASAP, i know mistakes happen and im fine with what i have right now and will be even happier when the new ones arrive and its very cool that they offered to pick up the reinstallation
