yup, sounds like that is what makes it look like its sitting too low, Ill see what the guy at Borla has to say, hopefully they just send me out a set and i can have them installed.
they added some welds even though its a bolt on to keep make it extra secure so it was worth it, i live in an area where everything is $$$, even the local meineke said it would be about $150 +
Hamptons Nuu Yawk baby....i stay at the hampton inn all the time!
Dang dude, sorry to hear..Hope it all gets fixed. You should ask about compensation for the install charges if the shop charges to remove and reinstall the new ones. Or maybe you can just do it yourself.. its just the tip?

The problem is that it's not the shops fault at all. It will be hard to convince them to remove and reinstall the new one when the fault wasn't theirs to begin with. I hope Borla picks up the cost though since it was their mess up
So the guy from Borla called me again and told me that he had the other G37 exhaust checked in his warehouse (there was only 1 left) and it too had the wrong tips installed. He said they would probably send me the entire rear muffler/tip assembly but that it could be anywhere from 8-10 weeks because it has to be manufactured so i guess im stuck with the smaller tips for a good portion of the winter.
BORLA has sold 100,000 times(not an exaggeration) the amount of exhausts and mufflers then FAST INTENTIONS, mistakes are bound to happen once in a while
