got it for $1275 shipped with a free hat !! . I spent the last 3 days watching youtube videos and reading reviews all over the place and while the FI sounds like a great exhaust it was going to take them a month + probably to build one for me, also the Borla HP gains are hard to beat, so i should be receiving it early next week. Im also going to try and install the Stillen Gen 3 CAI today with the g/f's dad. Thanks for the input and help with my questions over the last couple days

 

Congrats, you will like it. Are you getting some HFC's. Whats an extra $400, get the HFC's and do all the exhaust work at once.

 

yeah thats the next thing im looking at, im just worried about a CEL but it seems like an isolated thing, do that add alot more noise or just extra power ? im not looking for a super loud exhaust.

 

its going to add ALOT of power, and some noise, on a stock exhaust there pretty loud, but i think between your borla and g3, hfc would be mainly for power. do it!!

same thing man, berks are a bit cheaper, but FI might have a bit better quality.

But berk you save money and it makes the same noise and puts up the same power.

 

I put HFC's and the Borla on and have not had any issues with the CEL. I took special care with the cat sensors. Take your time with the install and make sure you bolt everything down loose until everything is on. Then go back and tighten it up. Double and triple check everything.

 

borla has a great set-up. had one on my 35. make sure they spot weld the bolts after install.

 

Order some Non fowlers from FI and it will solve the SES light!

 

Where did you order it from for that price? I'm looking to get the Borla myself.

 

they both use the same high flow cat, and berks has a fouler built in. i would use the extra foulers from the auto store (pepboyz, autozone) which is another $20 tops.

i havent had any light issues with mine.
