Help Should I remove the resonators off my Greddy
Resonators are put there for a reason... they go with the system the was it was designed to be.... taking them off may yield an hp or 2 maybe... but it will increase the loudness and tone of the exhaust and may be nice for a day or two but then it will get old... this was one reason I got rid of the borla is because it didnt have resonators and was just to loud and a lil raspy at the high rpm range...
unless ur G is a pure race car id say leave em

But what I dont understand is, what is the difference between removing the resonators then adding test pipes?
- keep cats remove resonators
- test pipes keep resonators
- keep cats remove resonators
- test pipes keep resonators
Just curious, but has anyone just removed the muffler and replaced it with 3" pipes. I went to a exhaust shop and the guy said with resonators, converters and a muffler I could get a good sound by eliminating the muffler and replacing it with pipes from the CC aft. And he would put the stock tips on the pipes

wowsie, the greddy with the silencers off are pretty loud already, especially with the exhaust depot y pipe, I do that when I go to the track and it sounds nice and loud and fun for maybe a day or two. Have you ever heard how loud this thing gets in the morning when you are heating up the car? I swear my neighbors are ready to shoot me when I start the car in the morning with the silencers off. lol
