couple of possible concerns
1. the filter is VERY close to touching the heat shield it seems
2. the pass side mounting bracket practically touches, slightly leans onto the power steerinf fluid reserve....
hopefully the above 2 issues dont become a problem...
well i cut/bent the corners of the heat shield a bit where it goes near the car's air inlet...the JWT instructions said to trim the car's inlet padding I believe. I was like F that, I'd rather bend back the stupid heat shield...other than that everything was a pretty easy fit...

About the heat shield, well, it seems that it's normal that the rubber part around the filter touches the PS bottle and slightly touches the heat shields.

I am feeling some power gains on the butt dyno in higher revs however i think its safe to say the car lugs slightly more in the very low RPMS. The turns I am used to taking in 3rd or even 4th because I used to be lazy to downshift are now at the same speed/conditions sounding slightly more lug/chug...
Also I tested my 2nd gear casual start off and it feels a little less powerful though it is still possible to do of course, just needs a tiny bit more throttle.
Overall Im still happy and I think the noise is calming to my better liking!!!!

With #2, you have just described what may happen or at least I have seen happening when no trimming is done. If I was you I could try to trim the passenger side air inlet, as you will see that this will allow more space for you to accomodate the intake tube and then the bracket will separate from the PS bottle and will allow to align better with the air inlet, and IMHO, it will allow even more air to the enter through the filter. And the reason of this trim is not for the heat shield to fit in there, it's for the filters, as indicated in the instructions.
About the heat shield, well, it seems that it's normal that the rubber part around the filter touches the PS bottle and slightly touches the heat shields.

Good call.
