you know my favorite part about this thread?

Where everyone just starts guestimating higher and higher than the previous poster, the prices for this intake and justify it due to R&D, dual intakes, etc...

it's almost as if some of you WANT this intake to cost upwards of 600-700 bucks. I wouldn't be surprised if Injen was planning on releasing it for a lot less, until they checked out this thread and realized how desperate and willing some people are to get this intake even before the 3rd party runs.

Dude, read the reasoning behind the numbers. If fujitas are 300ish and Stillens are damn near 600, and both of these intakes are rumored to be far inferior products, why would Injen not capatalize? Plus Injen's set up has more material, longer piping, and replaces the fluid bottle for the wipers to a smaller unit. That stuff ain't free. Add that to the fact they've been quoted at saying MSRP is around 700, and you have the figures you do, 500 to 550. I don't want to pay that much, but I'm willing to. I hope they are similar to Fujitas pricing, but do you really think if everyone on the forum was saying/guessing $50 Injen would drop the price?!? It's just as silly to think they'd jack it up based on a handfull of guesses.

Any news on when we can see the pics of an installed unit with the bumper off (like the 350Z) so we can see how this is going to work out? Also, pics on the all black system?

Thanks
