I'm curious about swapping out the injen ones for a corresponding pair of the new amsoil EA filters. Seems like you only have to clean them out once a year or every 25,000 miles.

With all the specifics about too much air and things like that Im not sure thats the best idea to switch filters right off the bat....

Will this bolt on to only the existing intake mounts or will there be another mount toward the bottom where the filter is. Also how long is the install?

Umm... I wouldnt recommend swapping filters on these... Injen tryed three different filters when they were testing and the one they are including is the one that made the most power... the others made anywhere from 3 to 5 hp less then the one included in the kit... So yeah I wouldnt recommend it...

Yep.. they had lots of factors in play to get the numbers they're getting. Stick with what they give you

Also David, bug Byron for me and get him to install mine this week

(Dragging up a post from a few pages back) I'm not too familiar with dynos (yet). Are they accurate below about 3k rpm, near the start of the graph lines? If so, those are some serious low-end torque gains...I think I see something like +20ish or more ft/lbs.

Okay, so it's mostly just a graphing/testing/dyno anomaly? At what point then is the graph considered accurate?
