nah I was kiddin Bboy about the special ed intake....lol...just tryn to point out the relatively useless gains of an intake on a pretty optimized car like a G by being a bit facetious....An intake on the G is more for sound than power IMO.

Oh to the OP - if I can just perfect my launch on this tricky 6MT Im gonna go for the 5.2 - 5.3 0-60 time that the M/T should be able to achieve. The only free mod I can think of lol by the time i track her this summer - is 1/4 tank gas and take out the spare tire...Gallon of gas weighs about 8 pounds and the spare may weigh about 30 I dunno..Should have me runnin a 100 or so pounds lighter vs. spare + full tank....I could lose about 20-30 pounds too! lol

KRAZY J after i put my fujitas i increase in power up to 30hp and decrease my 0-60 now i can run some where close to 4.1sec then u need to put a chip from ebay u can even use any honda or acura chip to increase the power and put some stickers on your windows like i vteck lol

There are tons on krazy j's out there albeit not many are in infiniti forums ... I am quite suprises the mods have let him go for as long as they have speaks alot about the guys here ... Most see him as a joke kinda of a way to pass time til the aftermarket starts getting serious and there's more stuff to talk about, and less time to spend on "How do I get subs to produce brown sound" , " Will my Asanti rims help me beat Lambos after I pay them off ? " threads.

 

You know Detroit, I didn't think it was possible but since you posted that without any j/k I thought maybe Detroit actually has real info on this. I have heard 10 to 20 hp gains on cars with bad designed intakes but I heard that the intake in the G37 has been fixed and is much better. Good job though Detroit, you got me for a second. Although now I can't believe anything you post anymore...lol j/k
