Was the stock airbox hard to remove? Anywho, looks great! Can't wait to install mine. My intakes were delivered this morning, but I won't have time to install it until Friday after work or Saturday.

i LOVE the sound it makes. at about 5-6krpm on up it just sounds like a demon! it has a little more growl even at idle and low rpms as well.

install was pretty darn easy, my coworker is a mechanic and used to work in an Infiniti service dept (small world), and volunteered to help me out. took us both about 45 minutes total.

stock airbox removal wasn't difficult, but you can't be affraid to jiggle it with a little umph. it's definitely in place and doesn't really want to be removed.

Side note, though definitely related: my cruise control doesn't work now... i'm not sure if it's due to the installation of an aftermarket intake or from when i curbed my rim in a parking lot... hit it pretty hard. anyway, i shot an email to fujita to see if they have any insight to the cruise control issue.

Hmm. No, no CEL lights or anything. Guess I'll have to call the dealership to have them look at it. Thanks for checking for me

Good luck after slapping those on.. Even tho the intakes should have nothing to do with the Cruise Control system.. You never know with these guys. If your buddy is an X-Infiniti mechanic, Why not have him look at it?

besides sound do those improve performance as well? i expect but i'm a big dummy when it comes to engines. I definately like the way they look in the engine bay.. almost wish the hood was clear to show those off!

nice job finagle..

Try resetting the ECU (disconnect battery overnight) and maybe your CC comes back

Is it just me ? I just got my G37 and still have my '06 coupe for another 3 weeks. I have been comparing them side by side. The wonderful exhaust sound of the old coupe is totally gona...i cant hear it at all sitting in the G37.....maybe i will have to get an aftermarket exhaust just to make it sound like the old coupe ?
