I have an almost brand new 2014 Q60s bought the car with only 21k km on it now at 35k haven’t really beat on this car at all. For the last like 2 months I’ve been hearing this faint knocking sound at idle that gets louder with acceleration till only 1100rpm and goes away, when the car is fully warmed up and I park after driving the sound is also not there and sometimes the knocking isn’t there on some start ups. Really need some feedback because I’m losing sleep over this worrying about a new engine and rod knock

 

Sounds like something in the exhaust is loose. Almost like a piece broke off inside the cat.

 

I had that for a while too. It might be the honeycomb in the cat rattling around
