Fusible Link Q’s

So my 08 G37 is not starting or cranking but supplies power to all interior parts. Made sure steering lock, brake sensor and battery was ok. Once i try to start it everything dies, no clicking at all. I believe the culprit is the fusible link, is it possible to replace just one of the fuses or do i need the replace all five? got the cover off but see no way to get the fuse out.also what’s the best place to put my subwoofer’s power wire. (i’ve had it disconnected for a couple months so it’s definitely not the cause of the blown fuse just saying lol) thanks

The "fuse" you circled is the 140amp for the alternator. If that has blown then there could be a issue with the alternator/ wiring.

That said, you can not replace just the 140amp fuse. The whole assembly gets replaced as one unit.

p/n: 24380-79915 and runs ≈$32 from parts.infinitiusa.com (not including shipping).

Other places, like your local Nissan or Infiniti stealership or some chain stores, may have the link as well (prices will vary).

As always, VERIFY BEFORE YOU BUY!

Alright just didn’t want to spend more than I needed to. Will be checking wiring but i think it was the battery flatlining on me that caused the blown fuse, we shall see… thanks ILM-NC G37S

A weak battery will pop this fuse as it strains the whole system trying to turn over the engine. This link is a common part they range from $20-$30 which is justifiable in my opinion.

Honestly can’t tell if it’s burnt out or not lol replacing either way. There wasn’t a cover on the bottom 4 just a lil electrical tape letting in whatever felt like calling it home, lots of pollen maybe even some rain if it got lucky.

Only a multimeter can tell you if the links are blown or not but even the there could be internal damage that you can not see. It does not look to be in the best shape, but it is 15 years old (assuming its original).

I'm also seeing the same no crank/no start issue. Was intermittent, but appears to have become permanent last week. Checked my fusable link, but it doesn't appear to be blown. Any chance you got your car running again?
