Weird sound that randomly comes and goes

i have a 2013 g37 xs that I got feb 13th. Twice now, I’ve noticed that randomly I hear a loud, laboring sound come from the left side. Both times I was decelerating. I didn’t feel any rub tbh but it was loud and scary. Any idea as to what it may be?

Could be pretty well anything. Check that your fender liners and under tray are all attached firmly and not able to drag.

Are you from a place where it snows? It snowed a lot where I live recently, and all the buildup would make a hellish noise when I turned the wheel. Kicked it out, and it was fine!

I found the buildup was bad on this car, however I like to drive like a rally driver... Sooo maybe my fault?

yes! I live in Philadelphia and it snowed the day before both of these incidents! Bad snow too! This must be it because the rotors and everything are new as I just got the car a few weeks ago. Thanks man!

There you go! And I noticed it’s on deceleration for you, so of course the wheel it likely hanging back a bit as engine braking/regular braking is pulling the wheel towards the rear of the car. Physics!
