Traction control/slip light randomly goes on

Hey guys I have an 09 g37x coupe with a few mods. When I accelerate quickly my traction control goes off and my slip light goes on and both don't go back until I turn the car off then on again. I am never actually slipping when this happens so I'm unsure what it is from. When I went to the dealership they said it could be from low brake fluid/pads but I just had my brakes replaced a few months ago. Anyone hear or have this same experience?

Fill the brake fluid reservoir to the max level.

Do you think that's actually the problem tho? it seems odd that would come on due to brake fluid

^ +1 on the brake fluid. Accelerating quickly sets off the sensor in the brake fluid reservoir and is usually a sign your pads and/or fluid are low. Had the same issue without the slip light (my brake light would come on and then go off and then my traction control light came on and stayed on until I turned my car off) but adding a little more fluid solved the problem. It actually started happening again but I'm due for new pads...

When this happened to me it was after I put my rear camber arms and toe bolts in and it was way out of alignment. Luckily I only had to go down the street to get it aligned and afterward the light went out.

You can definitely do it, just buy some DOT 3 brake fluid and top it off. If your fluid is close to the Max line then just add a small amount to not overfill... Or stop accelerating quickly just kidding...

So I checked my brake fluid and it looks pretty full. It isn't at the max line but its right in the middle of the max and min. Still think I should top it off?

Yes. Mine was in the middle between max and min and that fixed the issue for me. It's not going to hurt it to top it off anyways. It's a cheap purchase also.

true ill try that and see what happens. my rear brake is squeaking from time to time so it could be related to that altho I just got brand new drilled and slotted rotors and ceramic pads in like august or September.
