Help Please - G Not Starting

Hey Guys, I have a 2008 g37s 6MT I purchased in March with only 21,400 miles on the odometer.

I have since then put 5,000 miles on the car without a hickup.

Yesterday after work, and the car sitting in the parking garage for 10 hours, I get into the car press the clutch, hit the start button....

....the Nav screen/dash turns on, the vents start blowing air but the car doesn't turn, doesn't even sound like it's trying to turn. I press the button again, and it turns off. A few more times and the same thing happens.

After the 8th or 9th attempt it starts, fire's right up without any sign of a weak battery.

This morning the same thing happened but it only took 3 try's.

I'm afraid of getting stranded, does anyone have any insight on what could be causing this?

The battery is a fairly new Duralast, there are no electronics plugged into the outlets in the car, I don't have an aftermarket alarm, remote start, or anything else that could be draining the battery.

Possibly alternator but it's pretty low mileage for that to occur. I'm having the same issue my battery and brake light started flickering on acceleration and now this morning went into limp mode. Replaced the battery due to old battery at 44 percent and took it to auto zone and the battery went dead and couldn't be charged and smelled weird but car is still draining battery :-(

^^Either needs adjustment or replacement most likely.

While you're under there check the cruise switch (upper relative to the pedal) for proper adjustment too. Incorrect adjustment of either one could prevent full clutch engagement or disengagement too.

Thanks guys!

I am much less concerned now, I was worried it was a electronic issue......those gremlins are tough to catch sometimes.

I had something horrible happen to me this morning. I got in my car at 5 Am to go to the gym before work. Start driving and the car is pulling HARD to the left. I get out after about 3 houses and find that both my driver side tires are slashed =(

Not only do I need new tires, but the 100 feet or so I drove pitted and completely ****ed up my driver side rims.

I don't understand why someone would do such a thing, I have no enemies and live in a good neighborhood. Most people park in driveways I unfortunately have to park on the street, in my 11 years living here never had this happen.
