Hey guys does anyone know what this circle ring at the very top of the remote inside does?

Just wondering cause mine fell off inside idk how prob previous owner but it sits there moving around when I shake it lol.

could be a rf shielf of some sort. Normally those are metal but who knows. Doesnt look like a heat sink or anything.... or could be some kinda support to give that cap room. (Used to do circuit card repair and micro soldering.)

Hmm. Not sure if I should get a new keyfob or not since it's not glued on just sitting in my remote moving around.

That looks to be the antenna coil used to energize the fob and communicate with the fobgina when the fob battery dies.

If yours is damaged, then the fob won't be able to start the car if inserted when the fob battery is dead.

Lol Ohh ok. Yeah idk how mine came off. I may need to get a new key fob. You guys know any place where I can get genuine infiniti key fob?
