but the odds of your valet knowing that is extremely slim. Besides, it would be easier for the valet to just steal from the next car who doesn't lock his trunk.

 

Unless the owner has left his owner’s manual in the front seat and opened to the appropriate page I doubt if this would be a problem.

 

Yea I just ran out there and looked and couldn't find it, I doubt a valet person will take the time to unless they happened to know about it. I really don't like to vallet my cars anyway. Nice option though.

 

Yeah giving the valet your car = they will stomp on it.

 

I too hate to valet my car, but sometimes I just can’t avoid it, like when going to a nice restaurant on a busy street where valet parking is the only option. But for what it’s worth, after locking them out of the trunk and glove compartment beforehand as previously discussed and not leaving any valuables around, I do a full walk-around afterward before I accept the car to make sure there’s no damage. Perhaps if more people did this, the valet staff would be less inclined to do mischief.
