Another dealer "recommend" service

So I drop off my car to get some stuff check out and of course the usually recommend service came up. They told me I need to flush my power steering, which I think is bs, flush my tranny fluid which I already did when my car was at 40k, its now at 50k.... and the thing which interested me the most was they recommend me to have the fuel system, injetors cleaned and stuff. Do you guys get your injectors clean? Couldnt I just buy those thing and dump it into my gas tank and assumed its gonna clean them? Need some help on this guys.

From the manual
INFINITI does not recommend the use of any
aftermarket fuel additives (Example: fuel injector
cleaner, octane booster, intake valve deposit
removers, etc.) which are sold commercially.
Many of these additives intended for
gum, varnish or deposit removal may contain
active solvent or similar ingredients that can be
harmful to the fuel system and engine.

I haven't seen any reference to recommended injector cleanings.

Your dealer will always recommend that you get more service than you need. Subway always wants to sell you a bag of chips and a drink with your sammich, why would your dealership by any different?

At least for my bmer (just got the g37 to comment) they hooked up the rails of my injectors to a machine that forced in cleaning solution. They also cleaned my intake. One or the other made a huge improvement in mpg and seat of the pants acceleration.

you can do the throttle body yourself... See the Dyi section.
