Help How Do I Update My Navigation ??!??
Someone help me out i wanna update my infiniti navigation system to the 2010 maps and software but i refuse to go to the dealer? how do i get it done and bypass a visit to the dealer??? help much appriciated!!
I think you would need to get a hold of the Nissan Consult-III diagnostic & service software. And the hardware devices to run it. Same thing they use to program the keyfobs on newer models, among other procedures.
In other words, good friggin luck with that.
Not really cost-effective unless you happen to know someone who has one.

Call your dealer... tell them you don't want to actually go there... meet them across the street, and have the tech put the DVD in to update your Nav... give him your credit card so he can take it to the cashier and take payment. Wait... and wait... and wait... and wait for him to return it to you. See, you didn't go to the dealer!

I think it's not even the CF Slot, there's another plug-in interface or whatever somewhere hidden behind the dash.
Well then... I stand by what I said... just replace CD with CF or "hidden plug-in thinger"... lol
