How to replace Wiper Refills - 2009 G37
Here is how it's done.
It's embarrassingly simple once you RTFD and use a pair of needle-nose pliers. See the attached PDF...

I have a 2009 G37 sedan. The passenger side wipers are supposed to be 17" but I bought replacement blades and are too long. The factory ones measure 16". Has anyone else noticed this?

Ordered some refills from https://discountinfinitiparts.com as they didn't rape on shipping.
For 2012 sedan
https://discountinfinitiparts.com/pa...blade%20refill
Ordered 288951AA0A (driver side), 28895JK61C (pass side). Part numbers came from their online catalog.
Received 28895JK65A (driver side) and 28895JK66A (pass side). Although numbers didn't match, driver side fit fine. Passenger side has the lock off by about 1/2" so it's sticking out and looks like this.
We'll see how this gets resolved. It is functional but looks tacky. The whole idea of going oem is to avoid this.
Edit: I looked very closely at the original insert.
It's stamped Mitsuba MOB2-S2-085 400mm . Could someone else with a sedan take a look to see what theirs say? Other posts on here reference a 425mm length (although that's for coupe I think).

Strange that the numbers they sent didn't match unless they've possibly been recently superseded???
Also interesting that almost all years have different part #s, did they really change the arms each time or do they just complicate things by all those different part #s???

You know the really messed up part, what's stamped on the new refill is the same as what's on the old, yet the lock portion of it is in a different place, about 1/2" closer to the end.
I don't know why nissan complicates this so much. I can see a coupe possibly being different from the sedan because of different windshields, but aside from that, not sure what else could be different.
The seller did respond offering to refund for both, but that still doesn't solve this. Maybe next time I'll buy a full passenger blade from the dealer and bring both of these refills in for comparison.
Too much hassle to deal with shipping back and ordering another set. The refill spaced such that all the groove guides are used so good support. They work well without streaking or skipping.

Tried to replace my Q60 wiper inserts today, it appears that I don't have OEM blade assemblies anymore, and that the wrong sizes are installed on my coupe. I have OEM inserts, and they don't match either wiper assembly, and it seems the short assembly is on the drivers side. Can you guys tell me if this is messed up? I think I need to buy OEM wiper assemblies.....:
