Couple General ??s

Whats up guys, i have a couple hopefully simple questions. I have the g37s 6mt and some times when im going slow in like first n i switch into second i like hear my clutch like "open" or like expand. Im not sure if your supposed to hear any noise when switching. It doesnt happen all the time not even alot just some times it happens. Am i going down to fast or hard??

My second ??s is when i turn the car off it makes like rattling noises like thinks inside the engine.. Not a clicking noise but seems as if like something was rattling around the engine like lil rocks etc, i have no clue what that is ither i asked one of my friends n he said shouldent be anything... but if i was to take any1 word on it it would be yours..

thanks

For first question do you mean the car rev's? Need to be a little more clear on this...

For the second ummm I noticed this car does make some extra noise turning off. Are you sure its comming from motor? Did you check if it was comming from the exhaust? Or maybe shut the car down with clutch supressed and listen. Then shut the car off without the clutch and listen.

tings are normal.
i've had it on several other larger block engines. its basically the metal and components cooling down and contracting. no worries about that. sounds like light taps on a tin can.

Why are you dropping the clutch so fast?

the noise at shut off has been common and it comes from the trans. there are a ton of posts on driver and my g35 did it also. it has been argued whether it is a throw out bearing or the clutch itself. next time you turn off the car, keep the clutch pressed in as you do it, and you will notice it doesn't happen.
