Okay boys let’s see if you can crack this..

I bought a 2012 g37 S from auction..

rack and pinion is bad in front. Car was hit on the passenger side and bent the rack.

I need help getting the right rack and pinion.

I keep seeing options for with or without rear active steering. This ****ing term sent down a rabbit hole for the last 2 weeks.

I called the dealer gave them the VIN # and since it was sold as salvaged they take it out of there system to tell me exactly what the car needs….

Rochester has set you on the right path. You need a steering rack without rear active steering. But if this G was hit hard enough to bend the steering rack, you've got bigger fish to fry.
