2012 G37 Sedan Key Fob Issue
Friends - I have replaced the batteries a few times on my 2012 G37 Infiniti sedan and am ready to go to the dealer to figure out what's wrong and if my KEYFOB is broken-
Sometimes the fob works and sometimes it doesn't - more often these days it doesn't -
Trouble both locking and unlocking the door and starting the car. I now must place the fob in its Keyport to start the car.
I also have to open car the old fashioned way, by using the actual silver key vs pressing a button.
I read other posts about bad batteries and have checked mine - they are fresh
I hear its expensive to get a new fob and wondered if this is something any mechanic can do or if I must go to a dealer? What might this cost? Any estimates?
Thank you whoever responds
