Reverse Signal Question

I've been trying to diagnose an issue that's causing me not to have reverse lights, back up sensors, or back up camera, and hoping someone can tell me what the issue might be.

When I put the car in reverse, on the gauge cluster, the car moves from P to R, and goes into reverse fine. I ran the diagnostic menu on the Navi this morning, and when I put it in reverse, the section titled Reverse does NOT move from OFF to ON, which I assume is why the cam/lights/sensors aren't realizing the car is in reverse.

What would be causing this, where the dash is recognizing it, but the screen on the navi is not?

I will save the technical "what-if's" until you clarify what year and drivetrain? Yes, it makes a difference...

Sorry! 2011 AT. Replaced fuse 4 this morning. Hoping it's the M69 relay.

I'm assuming you've read the other threads regarding this issue so that will spare me having to repeat.

Easiest test, locate the M69 relay and identify the GROUND wire that comes FROM the TCM. With key ON (not ACC) and in PARK, use a small jumper wire and touch that relay socket terminal to bare metal and see if the relay clicks/ camera, lights turn ON.

Or, alternatively, you can test using this method.

Thanks so much for the response, very helpful. I have been through so many threads but started to get confused between all the different troubleshooting and admittedly, i'm not very experienced with diagnosing electrical issues. I grabbed a replacement relay and a multimeter and needed to replace the Navi screen this weekend anyway, so it will be a good time to try to isolate this. Thanks again and will report back in hopes it will help someone else down the line.

Hey, it’s been a year but did you fix the issue? I’m having the same issue and not able to figure it out.
