I have not used ecutek without first flashing a tune to say for sure. But I would suspect that is the issue if you are still on oem stock tune and attempting to use all ecutek has to offer. I would wait until you get a tune flashed in before getting concerned and trying to troubleshoot something that may be a non issue.

Hopefully it's not just an app thing cuz I see screenshots of the AFR readings on the Android Play Store of the app. Cuz otherwise I'm left to deduce what all these sensor volt data inputs actually mean:
You're almost there. You either have to switch settings to display "AFR" instead of V's or I suspect that @14Q60awdSPORT maybe right by not being flashed yet you might be limited to the info you can see due to access.
In Uprev (flashed) you have the option of switching values of AFR.

Thanks BULL and Panda (and everyone else). That makes sense. I'm almost there. I won't turn this thread into my concerns or experience with Z1's tuning... I might make a separate thread for that if allowed. IIRC I'm not alone in not having the best experience with them for this particular issue lol I believe IIRC 4DRZ had some problems once upon a time. The fact that responses from Z1 have been one sentence short or just flat out non-existent is concerning to me. I kinda want my money back. Essentially all I have right now is a $800 EcuTek OBDII dongle and an app that logs data, but for some whack reason will only show AFR readings in volts and not display the AFR letters or numbers the way we're used to seeing them (i.e. 14.7).

At this point save your money and go full, you can do really good with an online map.
ECUTEK has thousands of decently running emaps that you could try.
With the full feature you'll have so many capabilities that once you clear this financial bump you'll be happy with it.

The z1 offer on the website makes it sounds like a custom E-tune.
however the price of the listing is $750
it is standard price/cost of $750 for a ecutek phoneflash bluetooth programming kit with a license for a VQ37 car. I highly doubt they can offer that + a custom tune for just the price of the components.
I am suspecting what you really purchased does not include any sort of tune. Only all the necessary components needed to get a tune.
on the bright side this means you can now purchase a custom e-tune from any number of tuners at only the cost of the e-tune itself as you should have everything else needed already, which is typically in the $300-$450 price range depending on the tuner.

However now I can't even flash the basic simple tune that was sent to me:

Depending on how things go with Z1 on this base level tune deal I'm trying to work out, I'll see what's next. I haven't heard too many people on here talk about Z1 being their go-to tuner... seems everyone has a preference but if I'm gonna have to spend the $ anyway, I think I'll go with a local tuner who can also get me on the dyno while he's at it.... idk

depending on when Martin comes back to Atlanta (he’s from FL) I will
be using Z1 for my retune.
