I have G37 2013, the model that has air recirculation feature in climate controls
Normally I can toggle between the 3 settings normally ( Auto Recirculation, recirculate, fresh-air) (the setting names were being shown on the Navigation screen as I pressed the button)
Now when I press the button it only scrolls through recirculate and fresh-air, while skipping the auto recirculate setting.
i saw other old thread but no one seemed to know the answer so I’m resurfacing it

If you're on defrost it won't go into recirc.

it makes sense that defrost will enforce the air intake from outside but I tired with defrost off, manual and auto

the issue is intermittent and I can’t seem to relate it to something in specific
