Replacing Tensioner

Hi,

Is there any way to change out the drive belt tensioner without removing the radiator fans? The FSM recommends removing the fans, but that’s a lot of work. There isn’t enough room to get a normal socket and torque wrench on the tensioner bolt without bumping into the fan mount.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Could try a normal 12pt wrench instead of a socket... Otherwise it's out with the fan!
Be glad it isn't a starter motor on an AWD G 😉
