Does anyone have experience with the gthaus resonator delete mid pipe? Would the exhaust note be roughly the same as a fabricated mid pipe from a muffler shop? The gthaus costs $500 while the exhaust shop would only charge me around $200

 

If the pipe size is the same, I don't see why the result would not be

 

Assuming they're both the same stainless steel, and you're not talking about the Ti version, and assuming the same material thickness and bends... can't see why it would be any different.

Not for nothing, but I think our engine sounds best when heavily resonated and only lightly muffled.
