Power Windows and Locks

Hi Guys, All of a sudden my power windows and lock do not work on my 12 G37 sedan. I have tried each one and they do not seem to work. Could this be a fuse or another problem?

Have you figured it out? Has anything else stopped working - like seat position motors? Can you lock and unlock the doors from the passenger side, with your fob, or with the door request button? Certainly the first guess is a fuse and there seem to be several involved. Starting with a big one "K" on your "fusible link" block at the battery's + connector. Then #6, #7, and #10 in the IPDM. Possibly more but I don't know specifically.

The next guess is the possibility that one of the wires which travel from the car's frame into the driver's door - through the rubber boot - has broken. You can inspect those by pulling back the rubber boot and looking for broken or frayed wires.

That window control main switch in the driver's armrest is also a "black box" with some processing in it. Sometimes those just fail.

I put all new fuses and relay. Plus changed the black box switch as well. Then decided to call a mechanic over. Turns out the Electrical harness is bad on the door. Replaced it with a used harness from the junk yard, works fine!

Thanks for your help!
