The longest drive has to be either from Miami to Orlando or Miami to the Keys in both my g37 (RIP) and my now Q40. I make sure everything is good before the trip like tire air pressure, oil, having the car clean (lol), brakes, etc. I wont lie to you I tend to drive pretty spirited so my mpg on the highway is probably around 20-22 at its best.

I did a somewhat similar trip: NYC to Tampa
Went with my dad so we could take turns driving, made it without stopping.
Catch is, it was before I got the G (heck is was before I finished college). Made the trip with a 2006 Altima SER. I know Altimas have a stigma, but that car was pretty fun (6mt of course).
What happened to your G?
I think my next roadtrip might be to Pittsburgh or maybe Charlotte (family has been spreading out quite a bit lately…I blame NY cost of living)
The first G I lost control of it during an extremely irresponsible night. Never again.
I have had a Q40 for over 7-8 years now and I think she's only had one long-distance trip to Orlando. I try not to get so many miles on it as I'm trying to keep the car's longevity, but I don't think my Infiniti will ever leave Florida. 6 hours just to see another state sounds like a **** drive lol.
In the G - Orlando to Charleston when I bought it, 380 miles. Charleston to Atlanta a few times, 310 miles.
Longest car trip? Back in 1996, Biloxi MS to Charleston SC, 690 miles in my Mk1 MR-2, with all my possessions in the passenger seat or a duffel strapped to the decklid.
Took the car out for a trip back to NY and ended up going out east, about 350 miles one-way. Fun trip (avoided the weekend traffic of course). Exhaust really comes alive in the twisty backroads, but calms down on the highway (luckily no drone).
Took my '13 coupe back to York County PA last month for college graduation (last one!). Car is still very comfortable. Its in the garage right now for a much needed polish and shine while my S2K is at the body shop.
Clocked another ~500 mile run back home and back…leaf-peeping, suburban parking lots, and of course, tunnels (aka Motordyne symphony). Also got my heater hose connector replaced (felt like it was a ticking-timebomb, but I the factory one was removed fully intact).
Took the car out with the family for apple picking. 2 kids under 4, wagon and other accessories and we fit "just fine". I guess that is the longest trip I have done with this car
Just got my 2010 G37X last month and already went on a trip to BC Canada about 1000 KM each way and I must say I love Infiniti all over again as I used to owned 09 FX35 with full OEM body kit & H&R lower spring, full ARK exshaust, strut brace & under body brace and rear brace, Infiniti big brake kit and I went on many long trips across Canada with it...
Getting ready to do ~1800 miles next week. Previous longest in my xS coupe was about 350. It was after that drive I realized I needed to replace my front axles and get my diff bushings done.

These cars do their best work with light intake/exhaust mods around 78-80mph. Mileage is even better in this range as well. You just have to be careful because you are seconds away from 110mph if you tap the gas to pass someone.
It's the low speed jaunts between traffic lights where the transmission and engine seem a little mismatched until pushed. Once that happens, you can see the fuel economy falling off a cliff.

Mismatched is a really good way to put it, I know exactly what you mean. Grew into it over the years.
My next roadtrip isn’t until the holidays, but I’m already getting pumped for it (as long as winter weather doesn’t hit, only have all-seasons on…).
Just got back from a nice road trip (rolling pics taken by co-pilot), clocking the G’s first maritime miles. Comfy tourer with some spirited ramps and bendys, etc etc.
Sunrise over the interstate:
Morning in dumbo and Bushwick. Black and white cookie has been my ritual for over a decade (time my trip so I make it to Brooklyn shortly after my favorite bakery opens):
Ferry ride from NY to CT

Seeing these pics brings back so many memories. My nonno ("grandpa") loved those black and whites. Every so often he would take me to the shop in the early morning (forget the name now but it was on Metropolitan Blvd. somewhere) and he would get his B&Ws and me some pignoli cookies, head back home and he'd eat HALF with his coffee saving the other half for his bedtime snack.
Makes me SO want to move back home... ugh...
Glad it was a safe and enjoyable trip. Thank you for sharing!
