Grounding Kit 2010 G37 Sedan?
Grounding Kit 2010 G37 Sedan?
I just bought a "new" 2010 G37 and I was looking all over but haven't heard anything about grounding a 2010 model. I'm new to all this, but heard a grounding kit will help the 7at shift a bit quicker and help the audio quality, so i figured i would do it, but I just cant find any real information about what to buy, or how to install it. Please help! Also, i'm thinking about getting some paddle shifters after the ground kit.
This might help.

A long-time forum member used to make a grounding kit but stopped a few years go. If you look further in the D-I-Y forum you should find at least one more thread about grounding. Take care, there is a voltage sensor on the battery ground that will cause trouble if you bypass it.

Thanks a ton!
I found this and wanted to post it here so it's easy to find when I get home:

Well my car has 120k on it. So idling at 500 rpm is definitely new. And the shifting was sometime a little clunky, it wouldn't match revs. Now it seems to match revs and shift just a little quicker.
When I first got my g37, I installed a grounding kit and took some videos on the difference. Without the kit it took a consistant 0.6s to shift. With the kit I had a high of 0.8s and a low of 0.4s to shift, which averaged out to 0.6s so ymmv. I still have some left over wires and connectors so if anyone wants them send me a pm, all I ask is shipping.
