WOT every signal light / Stop sign / exiting corner lol?
I don't do it every time but I do it here and there everyday. other than that, I go slow and just follow other cars and cruise.

Okay my question is how long do we expect our engines to last by beating on them? After spinning a bearing in my WRX (my previous car), I'm afraid to repeatedly beat the crap out of this one........... But man the sounds that my car makes are so intoxicating it's so hard not to wanna get in it all the time. The symphony of intake and exhaust is like crack.

Proper maintenance. Check your oil regularly. Don't bounce off the rev limiter. Use premium octane fuel. Be gentle until the engine gets up to operating temperature.

With that list, in theory I should be good for at least 200K then. I follow all those rules except the occasional 7500 rpm wind up onto the expressway. I swear the kids make me do it. (Kids in background "Make it go loud and fast daddy").

I concur with being easy on the motor when cold. Otherwise stomp the fool out of it.

This. I go super easy for first 5~10minutes until oil temp reaches normal temp and stomp after!

Please note the G doesn't offer an oil temperature gauge. You wait for the water temp gauge to get near normal. Engine casting will have similar temp, which means oil will be near that temp.

I typically drive slow for a couple of minutes after the temp gauge reaches normal. A bit paranoid that the temps aren't fully up yet.
