Yeah, other than always breaking the reviewers love them. Perfection they said. Sad

I am getting old, the C8 actually looks good AND my next car might be a Lexus LS instead of a GTR.

Thanks. I've been trying to get a hold of JEBaker1121 to see if he still has his 50. Not too much going on in terms of mods, I think the only thing available is a catback and k&n drop in filters. Don't know if this is true but I hear a HFC from the 37 can fit with some modifications. I'm trying to look more into this.

That is a nice FX50! I wish they put the 5.0 liter V8 in the G when they were still producing the G. That engine, plus the G chassis would be an ultimate 4 door sports car. I know Nissan uses the VK50 in some of their race cars and they can be tuned to produce 420 HP with some minor modifications. Imagine if they put twin turbos with the VK50VE. Jesus almighty. Now I'm wondering how hard it could be to swap it since the inside of the FX50 shares a lot of similarities to the G37. Wouldn't be surprised if most of the interior wiring would be plug in play.

replacement for the g when the time comes will be a Genesis g70 with the 3.3liter turbo, or a golf r.

Any news on the 30 new vehicles Nissan is saying they will release over the next 3 years? I'm hoping by new they mean new and not refreshed.

That's globally, but there are a number of new cars on the way here too- but not too much we will be excited about. With Nissan's financial woes it will probably be even longer before we see a new Z.

Follow up to the series of posts from last week. The replacement vehicle is a '15 honda accord. How does this make any sense.............

Pros:

1) It's paid for
2) Super low miles (17K)
3) Sips fuel
4) Excellent back seat space
5) No dealing with clearing off snow in the winter (it'll be garaged)
6) Dad's car
7) Easy to drive in traffic

Cons:

1) It's a honda accord
2) FWD, and!@# CVT
3) 2.4L engine with just enough ponies to get by
4) Needs new tires (going with A/S 3+ in slightly larger than stock size - 235/50/17)
5) Halogen headlamps
6) Crappy stereo
7) Seats uncomfortable for long distance

There's probably other items to add to both lists. But, after assigning a [mental] weight to each factor, the honda still wins and replacing it is a poor financial decision.
