never pulled the tails when I had the G, but I recall that when I changed the tails on my maxima there was a bunch of thick 'goop' that almost looked like tar. This made removal a bit more challenging as it required a bit of force to pull the old tails out. I assume its purpose was to create a seal to prevent leaks. Did the old tail light and/or replacement tail light have any sealant on it?

Turned out problem was somewhere at the gasket of tail light. No idea why as it looked identical to other tail light and two original ones. What I did is pulled gaskets from original tail lights and added them on top of new tail lights. Checked with water and no leaks

Speaking of quiet subwoofer. I figured that the amp next to the subwoofer was damaged due to hail and water. Not sure if that's the case, but I ordered amp and we'll see.

Car is on the road and running. Got temporary tag and will have that tag till inspection.

All is good Took one day to get used to it. There are some differences comparing it with Infiniti i35. G37 is definitely more sporty.

One question, how do I determine what specific color my g37 have? Is it in VIN? somewhere on door? Or you guys know what color my car is?

Thanks guys. Code is actually KAC.

Couple other things. I noticed when I drive above 70mph, some wind noise can be heard from rear door. Is that a common issue? I'll probably will try to pin point the problem and may be use some 3m tape or something.

Now only other issue is the dents. I guess eventually I will just ask for couple quotes to get a general idea how much it would cost me.

And lastly, probably pretty soon I'll change my engine oil, transmission oil. I heard I also might replace a gear oil and differential oil, what is it? lol. Never had to replace it on my other cars.

^ if you've only ever owned FWD cars then i can see why you've not done diff oil before. the G37 is RWD and has a rear diff that requires servicing every ~30k or so. The GL-5 gear/diff fluid is simply drained and refilled, and the magnet is cleaned. easy as pie, cheap too. don't worry about any friction modifier that's called up in the OM unless you get chatter, but i've yet to hear of that being an issue.

if you are AWD there is also a transfer case, not sure what fluid that needs, check the OM.

Just realized that I will need some time to get used to RWD.

With FWD, I enjoyed making a sharp turn and rapidly accelerating, with G37 I almost got in trouble with that lol. It causes my car to spin etc.

I guess I will have to learn driving RWD more.

What tires did it come with? Since you're in FL, you may want to consider a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports. Not saying that they will resolve the exact situation that you have described, but they should help your traction a bit overall.

Yeah, you gotta be careful or you'll spin it and end up backwards in a ditch or something lol. Very different from FWD where the worst that'll happen is understeer.
