Here's a Q50.
INFI Q50/PREMIU
Not bad at all. It'll probably will go for at least 8k in my opinion. And add shipping and buying fee and total would be over 10k.

When I got mine, seller was asking for $4900, but later decided to sell it for my asking price ($3100). Shipping and buying fee is where you lose tons of money.

I noticed that! You had like over $2000 in fees. Too bad you weren't closer to Texas! And yeah, everythings crammed in the G. Check out the starter. I think you have to jack up the motor and undo the steering link just to get it out.

amp looks like has some water damage (at least I see orange corrosion). Good thing I ordered sub AND amp. Should get them next week.

Took off rear deck and noticed that lots of glass is still there. Vacuuming from rear deck during rear window installation didn't help much.

Thanks bro. So far I like it. Lots of dents (honestly thought there will be dents, but not that many). But everything else I expected. Not sure if it was my dream car option, but still a nice car for about half the price. I could never afford to buy the car for 13k, so I am happy.

This kind of reminds me of the guy who started Vaydor body kits. And now his car is being showcased in Suicide Squad. Maybe you can fabricate one for the G37 platform and make it look better than a Lambo!

Nevertheless, keep up the good work! There will always be people rooting for you

I love project threads. I'm happy to see your progress. Keep it up man, will be following. Seems like you're on the right track and it is looking way better already. How did the glass repair turn out? Any leaks or issues?

Thanks guys it is actually fun to work on a project

Glass was replaced by a service, so hopefully there will be no leaks.

Moonroof glass came in today. Will replace it tomorrow.

One mirror has a cracked glass as well. I should get the replacement on Monday.

Subwoofer, amp, sub trim cover coming on Thursday.

Sounds good!

I would have used the bad sub/amp as an excuse to overhaul the entire audio system. But that's just something that happens with every car that I get

I bought my car CPO from Infiniti, and I didn't find out until I was getting rid of it that it had a damage claim on file. I should have known, because A friend of mine who works in a glass shop told me that my rear glass and rear driver side window were not original - I was in denial, though, because the car looked and ran great. The sunroof also didn't work (glass was OK but the mechanism would jam when opening). Replaced under warranty (took all day). Glad to hear that your mechanism appears to be fine and it just needs the glass.

Looking forward to more pictures.

It all depends on what you like, some people want a clean history car, I'm all for salvage, it def is fun to work on and you discover the ins and outs of your car which is great when you're planning on keeping it. I bought a few from auctions to flip, always made a few extra bucks. I was looking for an S sedan on all the auction websites, hard to find. Found one that had a xS badge but was manual, did some research and found out it was rear ended prior to having front damage. Needless to say, I passed on it. To echo everyone, good find and kept us updated, this is a cool different version on a build thread, a rebuild thread, cheer

Replaced my moonroof today. Overall the job was easy, I'll made DIY when will have time.

It took awhile to vaccum all glass particles. Had to run to Home Depot to get vacuum extensions etc.

For some reason, one corner of the moonroof would not lay flat. It is slightly up. Moonroof operates good, no other issues. I tested with water and there are no leaks. I might have to adjust moonroof later for that corner, but its not too bad.

Noticed that I will have a hard time removing tape adhesive. If you guys will have any suggestions with removal of adhesive, please let me know.

Also, I noticed that there are even more dents than I thought the car would have, but knowing that I am paying half for the car keeps me calm

I'd try goo-gone first and see if that works, anything stronger than that may get through the clear coat.
Looks like you're making steady progress, just gotta keep pluggin'.

3M makes an adhesive remover that's made for removing the adhesive residue from things like wood paneling on cars, I'd try that. An eraser wheel would take it off, but that's a lot to take off with a wheel and you risk burning through the clear coat.
