Drove to WV for the holiday. 550 miles round trip. Starting on the flat roads of Indiana and then the hills of southern Ohio and WV.

On the way there I got a respectable 27 mpg at 71 mph.

On the way back I hit 30.1 mpg in the first 90 minutes.

Then the speed limit picked up and I finished the trip home with a very nice 28.4 mpg averaging 67.5 mph.

Tomorrow I plan to start a project on the car that I've had the parts for a long time.

Technically Friday not today, but I installed the GTR button on my sedan. I swapped out the guts in the button for the Infiniti guts, but noticed that the word 'engine' does not light up. Also the words 'start' and 'stop' seem a little dim when lit...

Is that right or did I mess something up? haha.

^^ It all looks GREAT! But I'd recommend buying a new shift **** off eBay for $99 and wrapping it. The peeling on your current one would drive me nuts lol

Oh wow, that sucks. Can that be repaired? If it can, I suspect you have to say "Adios" to the CF pattern, and have the piece painted. Carbon Signal body parts are big $$$, too. Bummer.

It also looks like the lawnmower kicked up a giant eye-bolt that jammed into your radiator.

How the heck did all that damage happen? It really hurts to look at, man. I can only imagine how you feel.

That's a sobering litter video for all the garage queens here who fancy themselves driving a racecar during the afternoon commute.

I call that "plowing the back forty". I'm not a fan of MSR Houston counter-clockwise.

Ouch. Glad it wasn't worse than that.

Here a little sneak peek of what I've been up to the past couple of days.
Should be all done tomorrow.

I received my wheels today XXR 527 19x9.75" +38 with the flat black finish.

I hate to admit it, but these were an impulse buy. Something personal came up recently and I had to take care of some business, so that was one of the major factors in me buying these wheels. The other major factor that pushed me into this impulse buy was that the place I bought it from (NLMotoring) was moving to a different warehouse. Because of this, they had a moving sale and it was going to expire 2 days later. This wheel averaged around $150 not including shipping, but because of the moving sale, I was able to get each wheel for $102 + $25 shipping.

Say what you want about replicas, but I don't track my car and I don't do anything too harsh. My G is my DD and the roads in my city are decent enough that I can feel okay with purchasing replicas.

No tires yet, but I will be getting them this month.

For that width and offset a 255/40/19 would be the widest I'd run, should be flush w/ a drop. Could run a mild stretch on a 245/40 as well
