On the other hand, I haven't got any updates on the tracking for my MD still at the original "label created". AHH I just want to install it already.

Yeah same, wtf!? I think I’ve checked for an update literally about 50 times each day since Friday.

Normally that kind of frantic waiting game is a set-up for disappointment when reality hits high expectations.

However... not in this case.

Then again, you already have the ARK Grip, so maybe. Sure is fun watching you freak out, though.

Protip to all motordyne owners: When Installing the Y-Pipe to Mid-Muffler merge, use a jack with some sort of padding on the jack to raise the mid-muffler. Then, once it is raised a few inches, then torque down the Y-pipe bolts. You will gain a few inches of clearance on the mid-muffler to avoid scraping as much. Once you lower the jack, the mid-muffler will drop of course but it will still sit higher. This is a tip I got from Tony @ MotorDyne.

Also, pay close attention to the alignment of your gaskets at the Y-Pipe. It may be the y-pipe I got but I blow gaskets quite often at that flange.

I'd post a pic of how my mid-muffler looks like but it may be too graphic for you guys.

Anyone experimented with customizing an ARK Full Catback? meaning swap some of the resonators out for straight pipe or other pipes? good or bad experiences would be appreciated. I am looking to perhaps customize it by removing some resonators just needed opinions. Thanks!

I called ARK regarding this before purchasing my MD and they said they themselves nor anyone they know of has modified their ark grip. They told me if I WAS going to modify the exhaust, they suggest leaving the resonators by the mufflers and removing the resonators on the xpipe. Now, if you do that and just chop em off, you essentially decreased the value (not sure by how much) of the exhaust when you want to resell it when you get rid of the G. If you are serious about modifying it, have a shop weld a straight piped 2.5" x pipe that can bolt right up to the arks mid pipe and cats.

Overall, no, I don't think anyone has ever modified the full ark grip CBE. I know there's a video of a G that is I think a custom exhausts with the ARK exhaust TIPS, but I don't think the complete CBE. For me, I decided to get the MD and I'll be selling the ARK grip once it's all installed.

I have a modified ark exhaust. I did a muffler delete, and it’s loud. Not sure if I’d take out the resonators as it might be raspy.

GSO ships two or three days quicker then regular shipping services. Mine is scheduled to be delivered tomorrow. Not sure if yours is being shipped through GSO.

Oh i already got mine last month man. I was just wondering if they were going to hook you up since it got delayed again, but sounds like you will still get to install it when you intended to, that ain't too bad i guess.

At least you get yours this week Mine is hopefully shipping out today HOPEFFUULLLLLLY. lol.

But on the bright side, I already have the ARK grip while you have that quiet, un-appealing, OEM exhaust So I guess I can manage the wait while you may be more antsy. Regardless, cant wait till you get yours installed and post a sound clip. If I remember correctly, you already have the Berk HFC?

If I am correct, you just removed the resonators on the Ark Grip Axle Back? And the X-Pipe still has the resonators and the midpipe is still straight piped? Is it alot more raspy? Higher pitched? I recorded sort of cold start / quick rev with my ARK + Z1 HFC . I will try and post it in a little to get an idea of how the crackles and pops sounds on the ARK. Regardless, It is still a bad video but I will post it and then record another when I get a better time. I did it really quick before my college class.
