Debadging
I was able to remove mine by hand without any floss . It probably helped that the car was sitting in 95 degree Texas heat all day. The residue wiped off with a couple of cotton terry towels. Then, I broke out the orbital and threw some polish to get rid of any resemblances of etching from the letters.

Debadging a G with chrome duck-bill instead of S spoiler.
I think I'm headed in the leave-the-original-Mt.-Fuji-where-it-is direction. The larger and regular size centered ones just don't look right to me.
As Lego_Man said on a thread referenced above, I have the chrome duck-bill. Not the proper S spoiler. And for whatever reason I like the duck-bill, and like LM said, there is more continuity.
That being said...this is a fun and relatively simple mod. I'm not stuck with my decision. I can change it later. For instance, SKYLINE has an odd appeal to me.
Any pics of the chrome duck-bill my modified badging out there?

Funny you pointed it out. I was scratching my head thinking something didn't look right on the back but couldn't tell what it was...LOL. I will leave the back as is.

Before and after Debadging g37x
Before:

After :

I know my iPhone sucks. Maybe I'll add a day shot tomorrow. But there it is. It couldn't look better (in person not the photo). It's just what I wanted and Mt. Fuji looks great where it is with the chrome duck-bill.
Thanks to everyone for their input,
Sean

I'm not painting that chrome lip, it reflects my inner child. I'm like a magpie in that way: I'm attracted to shiny objects.
I'll get another daylight picture tomorrow so you can see Mt. Fuji in all her glory.

But please, get your photo issues resolved LMAO

That way I can present the transformation properly.
Jon at mid Atlantic Motor Sports and I are actually talking HFCCs and cat-back. We'll see where that goes. I may touch one of our vendors for some info. The AWD sedan narrows the choices.
I do like the FI set up with the 18" resonators so we can take long road trips with less drone. But when I put my foot into it, then I get 'that' sound...if you know what I mean.
That's like a ten week wait on the build. Gives me more time to get some more $$$ behind me.
Plus, and I know this can be controversial, there could be a performance gain.
