If you didn't notice I noted I DO have experience. You are the one being stubborn instead of listening. Paint is going to stick to polyurethane if its prepped right. From the pics it doesn't look like an adhesion problem, it looks like road debris got the best of the paint.

Yet an inch up is flawless without any chips at all, then i have a few chips on my grill. Guess the rocks just don't like hitting the bumper at all, not even one, they all somehow miss the majority of the front end. There are no chips in the entire bumper itself

And that still doesn't have anything to do with the quality of the lip. If adhesion were the issue the paint would be coming off in large chunks, and not little impact dots.

You mean like this?

Ok... the common ground may be here: the lip doesn't come in pure urethane or fiberglass or whatever, but it does have a primer/base coat that happens to be (imho) very cheap, causing adhesion issues. Possibly mine was an exception and, for the op's sake, I hope it is and his will be fine. In any case, I know that both my lip and bumper were prepped and painted identically and are subjected to very similar road abuse and I am not exaggerating when I say that there's not a single chip in my bumper. Anyway, my apologies if I came off as belligerent and a$$holish. My intent was to help the op so let's get back to this post being helpful and not a set of bickering teenage tweets. As soon as I'll get an oem lip, I'll post my experience with the hope of adding clarity to this issue but for now lets agree to disagree and hopefully there's some positive info in these posts

Keep us updated OP, as well as the maaco paint job poster since most people have a negative association with maaco, maybe they have stepped up.
