09 and up G37S sedans = 2 nation wide.
Pretty hard to find for sale up here.
I'm glad I got mine new in 2011 and still enjoy driving it very much. Recently hit 110,000km. Still runs like new.
Curious, any issues with the clutch master or slave cylinders (clutch pedal drop)?
Looked around for months for a 6sp S model to replace my 03 maxima titanium edition. I didn't really care what color as long as the miles were low. Lost out on one in Florida then looked for 3 more months. Found a 2011 vibrant red S model with 6spd. Took a bus 6 hours away and drove it back. I haven't seen another sport in the 3 months I've owned it.
wait dude was the one u missed on in Jacksonville Florida or in Orlando and it was gray?, cuz I think I own that one
Hi all, I was roaming around cars .com earlier today and was kind of curious as to what the market had for 6mt g37 sedans. So just some quick numbers I found;
There is currently 1,107 sedans for sale right now nationwide and of those, 11 were labeled as manual. Digging even deeper into the photos and ensuring they were actual manuals with three peddles, I found 3 cars. Also 3 other cars did not have any photos, but doing a VIN decoder check, they do confirm 6MT.
So doing some quick math, 6 out of 1,107 is 0.5% of used cars at this given moment are 6mt G37 Sedans!
Here's a photo of one of the cars, just because all good threads need photos. -1scG37s
Man, my PTSD is rearin' up. I remember the days of getting my hopes up only to see that automatic shifter.
A few tips for anyone looking for a 6MT:
Don't filter by 'Sport', just filter by manual transmission. I tried this out when I was searching and ended up finding a few 6MT labeled as Journey's.
If there's not any pics of the shifter column or driver floor board, to save you from doing a VIN search, see if there's a good pic of the rear seat area. If you see vents on the rear side of middle console, it's not a MT. No MT's had rear vents.
Car sites usually post the ad the moment it's created. Check often throughout the day so you don't miss any postings. Morning time is when I'd find the most new listings.
These things go in a matter of minutes. You'll probably have to take a risk and place a deposit down before doing any pre-purchase inspection. In my experience I had someone call 15 minutes after I placed a deposit down (I called the minute they opened).

I can't stand the dealer or individual who uploads the cars with those "6MT-with O/D" notes. Paddle shifters does not equal manual transmissions!
I have to agree with you and anyone who's ever done the 6mt hunt, you've gotta be quick on it. I lucked out on my fine. I saw it posted on a Friday night with a few photo that was labeled "being certified" all over the photo. Went in the next morning and saw it in person and was already satisfied and pull the triggered. I had a buddy who was looking for the 6mt TL type S a while back ago and told the sales guy he was working with to send photos of the everything to confirm. He did find one (on the other-side of the country) that satisfied him and flew out to get it.
SO yes, stay consistent on the search, you'll find one, but keep in mind that the % to find is getting smaller and smaller!
GL to all on their search.
and here's a NISMO shift ****, because good threads need photos. -1scG37s

I would end up emailing these fools. Probably didn't do any good, but it sure was cathartic.

The issue with these classifieds is the cars are either heavily modified or '09's, but maybe some days are better than others. I'm assuming most people that have difficulties finding them are looking for unmodified, post-refresh models, as was in my case (beggars being choosy kinda thing). I needed to trade in my old beater as well, so I couldn't even go the private sellers route.
Not sure if anyone is still posting about on this subject. But I purchased a 2013 G37s 6MT about 2 days before I joined this channel. I was told at the Infiniti dealer, the 2013 would be the last year of production for the 6MT. I would still like to know; how rare this vehicle is.

The sedan 6MT's are pretty rare. I sold mine a few years ago, but spent 6 months looking for it when I bought it in 2015. I can only imagine they are even more rare now. I see some dealers are now asking just as much now with a lot more miles than when I bought my car almost 8 years ago!?!
bout as rare as midget holding a $3 bill while sipping on somalian breast milk. I searched for close to 10 months, 4 different states, and never found anything that 10' and up. Finally settled for the 7at but has to be an S at least
I bought my 2009 with 56k miles in three months. Perfect condition black 6MT sedan. I got a bit lucky, but you look, you can find them.
