Had this problem for +9 months. Would happen on and off, usually during the summer after driving long periods. Finally got the throttle bodies cleaned and guess what, no more problem. I'm 99.9% sure this has to do with cleaning the throttle bodies. It's not a recommended service procedure, so I paid a bit to have it done during my 75k maintenance. You can try getting this covered under warranty since it's a powertrain issue, but it was just easier for me to pay and be done with it.
