Does the sport bumper take a different grille?

I put this on mine over the weekend, but it's not a sport model. $199 on eBay.

Sport and non sport are the same, only difference is 07-09 and 10-14 model years.

In that case, OP, do a search on eBay for "G37 midnight grille" and you should see the $199 grilles from carpartscorner out of TN. It is the sedan version, and identical to the one I installed in the picture above.

It's oem, and much cheaper than going through the dealer. Some people paint the chrome trim, but I couldn't wait, and didn't want to pay for it. The trim does look sharp when painted in the color of your car.

I just need to figure out if I want to sell my grille to recover most of my expense, or use it to experiment with other color choices.

That's where I got my midnight grille from. I've had no issues with it, and I've put twice as many miles on my G as others who have painted theirs and theirs have chipped pretty badly.

If you sell your oem grille you're not going to get much for it tbh.

Yeah, I was going to list it for $150 or best offer. I figure it's worth at least $100...maybe?
Perhaps I need to wait for the $199 midnight grilles to run out before listing it.

I wouldn't get your hopes up even at a $100, and I don't think she'll run out any time soon. I bought mine last November from her and she seems to keep them in stock quite regularly. I sold my OEM grille to a friend for $80.

They were out for several weeks (maybe a month), and then came back at the $199 price.

I think it would sell for $100, but not sure how long it would take.

At this point, I'm going to get a quote to have the whole thing painted liquid platinum. I think that may look hot with a black Fuji. A black Fuji would require me to paint the background of the Fuji liquid platinum for more contrast.

Getting the midnight grille was the first step. It frees me up to experiment.

Sorry to hijack OP, but I think you have what you were looking for.

Bought mine from Carpartscorner like a lot of people here - they originally had them at $150 with best offer, but now they're $199;

It was the first thing I changed on my G37;
